Let us introduce ourselves….

Back in 1924, Hermann Mohn founded his company, Hermann Mohn GmbH & Co KG in Velbert, first address was Langenbergerstraße. Walter and Klara, Hermanns children, not only took over the business in 1946, but also enlarged their company’s portfolio by creating several new designs of door- and window fittings. Walter’s daughter Renate and her husband Josef Kohlmann represented the third generation of HERMO. They built up a new plant with a new address, Bunsenstraße 3 within the area of industrial park „Röbbek“ – company’s site ever since.

In 2006, their son Björn became CEO of HERMO and extended business with his goods successfully way beyond Germany’s borders.

EVEN BETTER – this slogan represents our work for four generations. HERMO’s philosophy is:

• as a family business we put our heart and soul into our work.

In our production competence was and will always call the shots.We have trimmed the business conciously to a highly productive process by using modern machines and CNC-techniques. We use state-of-the-art robots from pouring to polishing to packaging – everything takes place in our company  and is therefore constantly under our control.
