Our optional AARTOS Cam is a fully integrated optical and thermal solution for the detection of drones, perfectly matched to the RF detection mechanisms of the AARTOS drone detection system. This option enables the user to actually spot detected drones, even from a long distance, and identify potentially dangerous payloads attached to the drone, such as explosives.

Should a drone switch to autonomous flying mode whilst being tracked by our Visual Detection System then the tracking will continue regardless.

Aaronia offers a broad range of counter-drone jammers with extremely high coverage of 10km. With up to 800W output power and a programmable frequency range until 6GHz these jammers get rid of any drone. Portable, stationary or fully integrated & automatic versions are available.

AARONIA offers a wide range of different radars depending on customer needs (low range, low cost or highend 3D). AARTOS Radar can automatically determine and display the exact position, flight direction, altitude, speed and classification of an inbound drone. All target flight routes are shown in real time and in 3D.

Depending on the radar it can distinguish between birds, fixedwing and propeller drones. Multiple alarm areas can be configured.

A radio frequency (RF) detector is a device used to detect the presence of RF waves in physical transmission medium. The AARTOS system uses the RF Detector to detect drones and drone pilots. Artificial intelligence even identifies the type of threat by comparing different frequency patterns. The system recognizes every radio signal and can easily distinguish drones from e.g. WiFi signals by learned patterns and identifies almost all types of threats. In addition, the location of the drone pilot is determined.

An advantage of this method is the detection range. While the radar only achieves a conical range of approx. 3 km, the RF Detector achieves a dome range of up to 14 km.

The system is scalable and can be adapted to the requirements and the budget.

The latest additions to the AARTOS DDS include the optional Ultra Long Range Communication Speaker – a fully integrated announcement and siren system for population warning that automatically plays warning messages if a drone is in a danger zone. This option enables the user to warn the drone pilot of the entry into a danger zone before taking countermeasures.

The 360° system with sector switching is optimized for high range (approx. 2000 m at 120 dBA) and offers best speech intelligibility due to new emitter technology.
