After entering the premises, SensorWeb automatically sends a trigger message to the security officer's Security App. The location of the trigger notification appears in the security officer's app, after which he can immediately determine the follow-up action. This follow-up action can consist of a physical check on location, but the security employee can also choose to activate the Security Drone. The drone will then automatically execute the flight plan belonging to the trigger sensor. The drone is on site within 60 seconds for aerial observations. The drone is connected to the Security App via the cloud, which makes information available to the security officer via the app at lightning speed.
Nimo Drone Security works with different types of drones from various manufacturers. The software for the drones has been further developed for security applications. All drones have flight software developed in the Netherlands that serves as the basis for the deployment of the drone. This software can only be updated via a secure USB connection.
It is not possible to adjust the software remotely in any way. The remaining factory software is completely erased and replaced by our own developed software. The SDK (software development kit) is developed and programmed in our research centre. In addition, it is possible to implement customer-specific needs faster.
We are the only company in the Netherlands that has equipped its drone with so-called "Hotspot Detection". This function enables the drone to search for a person by body heat when making a flight plan near the triggered sensor. Once the drone has found the person using its thermal camera, it will continue to follow them. This is unique in the current security market.
