The autonomous SOLARIS NG active IR light barriers work completely independently. The devices are powered by a solar module and an integrated backup battery. No civil engineering work or cabling is required for installation.
The backup battery guarantees excellent system autonomy (up to 2 months) and operating temperatures from -40°C to +70°C. Each SOLARIS NG column is equipped with a radio transmitter/receiver from SORHEA. Thanks to a proprietary radio protocol, all IR columns form a secure meshed network.
This technology makes it possible for alarm messages to be forwarded to the radio coordinator via several channels simultaneously, thus guaranteeing a very high level of security. To ensure message security, a watchdog function monitors the correct operation of the network.
