About the speaker
I first came into contact with security technology during my career as an officer in the German Armed Forces as an infantryman. As part of the administrative assistance programme, I was able to support special police units at both state and federal level in areas such as NBC, USBV, Advanced Live Support and similar.
After I left the civil service with the rank of Captain of the Reserve, the former commander of a special federal police unit recommended me to a manufacturer of high-quality security technology, for whom I worked internationally for five years.
I worked internationally for five years. I then spent three years working for an international company from Zurich, which specialised as a security installer for perimeter security projects in the field of renewable energies.
In order to be able to provide manufacturer-neutral advice, I qualified as an expert for security technology in 2013 in accordance with the regulations of the Deutscher Gutachter und Sachverständigen Verband e.V. Leipzig. My recertification took place in 2021.
In 2013, I ventured into self-employment, having previously worked as an expert on international projects for two companies in Fürth and Vienna.
In parallel to my expert activities, I worked for an international telecommunications group for five years, where I was responsible for building security and the development/implementation of a threat management system.
