Unique status creates strong growth potential

Thomas Preutenborbeck, Member of the Management Board, emphasises the high level of specialisation in his summary: „No other trade fair covers the combination of fence, gate and security technology as extensively as Perimeter Protection. The trade fair was truly well received, once again proving its above-average potential for this exciting industry.“

The success figures at a glance

With more than 5,000 trade visitors from over 57 countries, the eighth Perimeter Protection came to a successful close on 16 January 2025.

Visitors obtained information about the latest mechanical, electrical and electronic solutions for perimeter and building security from around 220 exhibitors from almost 30 countries on a gross exhibition area of around 15,000 square metres. Especially gratifying was the increase in the share of international exhibitors to almost 35 percent.

Again this year, the Trade Forum was very well received. This is where renowned industry experts shared valuable tips and lessons in numerous presentations given on all three days of the exhibition.

Statements on Perimeter Protection

Benedikt Weyerer, Perimeter Protection director
"The last Perimeter Protection was an outstanding success and follows on seamlessly from its previous success story. The great satisfaction of our exhibitors and visitors and, particularly pleasing, the quality of the visitors and their positive feedback on the products presented underlines the development. The discussions and presentations on topics such as the upcoming KRITIS umbrella law have also shown how important personal exchange is and how Perimeter Protection is and remains the central meeting point for innovation and exchange in the European security industry."
Benedikt Weyerer, Director Exhibition Perimeter Protection at NürnbergMesse
"Driven by late-breaking topics like the KRITIS DachGesetz (CER law), artificial intelligence, drones, access protection and securing business processes, there were once again brisk and constructive discussions both in the specialist forum and at the exhibitors' stands this year. The requirements for perimeter protection are increasing as well as is the need for information. It was possible to find right answers to a lot of questions at the Perimeter Protection fair. However, these still need to be translated into appropriate measures. Perimeter Protection 2025 has thus once again contributed to greater security, but many questions still remain unanswered and we are therefore already looking forward to Perimeter Protection 2027 to contribute even more to physical security."
